About this tool

A single self-contained page over a normalized delivery-spec dataset. Browse per-platform specs and safe zones, build a deliverable list for a job, and collapse it into the fewest shared exports.

Aspect ratios & the reuse engine

A deliverable is a platform × aspect-ratio pair. Each pair resolves to a vetted encode preset (e.g. a 9:16 social cut → social_vertical_1080x1920, a 16:9 CTV cut → ctv_premium_1080p). Two deliverables share one export file only when they match on both ratio and preset — so the tool never merges a vertical cut into a landscape file. Recommended ratios per platform live in an editable overlay (app/aspect-profiles.json) so you decide the default cut, not "whatever is accepted."

Grouped specs

Each platform's specs are grouped (Container / Video / Audio / Aspect / Duration / File size) with every value tagged Accepted (hard limit) or Preferred (recommended).

Portability

Canonical data stays as JSON in delivery-specs-handoff/; this page is generated by app/build.py. The Engine object is framework-free and copy-pasteable. Regenerate with python3 app/build.py.

Package version . Premium streaming / CTV outlets may still require publisher, DSP, or rep-level approval. Platforms marked "confirm" had no defendable public delivery spec at capture time.
